En Birmanie, la solidarité suisse fait une réelle différence

À Mandalay, proche de l’épicentre du séisme, notre directeur des programmes, Ernst Lüber, a pu constater concrètement ce que la solidarité de la population en Suisse a permis de rendre possible. Un an après la catastrophe, les besoins restent immenses, mais l’aide financée grâce aux dons a déjà permis à de nombreuses familles de retrouver un abri, d’accéder à des soins et d’envoyer leurs enfants à l’école.

Myanmar: One year after the earthquake, aid funded by Swiss Solidarity continues

One year ago, a powerful earthquake struck Southeast Asia. Thanks to the solidarity shown in Switzerland, the Swiss Solidarity Foundation was able to raise nearly 8 million Swiss francs and fund emergency assistance for more than 230,000 people in Myanmar, including shelter, water, healthcare, psychosocial support and access to education.
